Too many commercials

I just sent a "communication of concern" to my beloved old AM radio station, the little flea power station, KIKO, 1340, "The Bull". 42 minutes of commercials an hour and the same ten songs played back to back, day after day, is getting on my nerves. They play a commercial about a local horse rescue outfit that is begging for contributions about three or four times an hour. The money this horse rescue spends on commercials would provide feed and provisions for plenty of rescued horses, seems to me, and I wouldn't have to listen to their repetitive commercials. In their defense, most of Phoenix radio, AM and FM is loaded with commercials. Very little music worth listening to. We listen to an FM country station off the reservation with lots of power, and only five minutes of commercials an hour, at the top of the hour, after the news. I also listen to a little AM station out of Tucson that limits their commercials. They are an oldies rock station. I listen to Western Red and Cowboy Corner on Saturday on The Bull, but that is about all any more. Too bad, really. The station comes in clearly here with decent fidelity. I offered to send them a CD with some different songs on it. ;)

Western Red is a canned program, I believe out of Nashville. Western Red himself is Australian, with a deep Ausie accent. But he also broadcasts the best country music program on radio that I have found. His program last week was from 2019, but was a gem. He plays obscure artists, album cuts, flip sides, "Ausie connections", and mixes in more modern material. He features a specific year's music one hour. His program is three hours long. The name of his program is "If That Ain't Country" and he has a website of the same name.
