A Carry Adaptation For My Vehicle

Post: # 16401Post 19&41 »

Having both a carry license and living in an open carry state, when I have the firearm in the car. I wanted to have a secure place to keep it that would not allow anything else stored in the area to come in contact with it. I had a large square of velcro material with industrial adhesive on each back. I purchased one of the type holsters, mentioned below. As opposed to leather holsters, these are made of kydex plastic and offer a snap in fit without any great flexibility. I cut a section of loop material on as much of the flat surface area of the holster and secured a larger section of hook material to the inner wall of my center console storage area. Placing the holster there, it secures the firearm with no movement and keeps it off the bottom of the compartment and is easy to access. This is the holster I used. https://shop.roundedgear.com/collection ... ex-holster

I removed the belt adapter to have a flat wall th mount the velcro material.

That's pretty impressive, Rex and keeps everything out of site.
