I love the slab-sided styling of the '67-'68 big Chryslers. The formal roofline is very reminiscent of the '62 -'64 GM "C" body cars. Big, quiet, smooth and powerful. I wonder if one could have ordered a New Yorker with a "Six Pack" option.......

A buddy of mind had a '67 New Yorker with the 375 HP 440 TNT option. It would pretty much blow all the hot rods in town right off the road.

Willard's New Yorker was pretty fast for a big car, as I remember. He brought it in to the gas station I worked at for service. It had dual exhausts and a limited slip differential. It had good air conditioning, which was uncommon for southern Indiana in those days. I do remember it being very quiet, with no wind noise between the windows, which was pretty common in four door hardtop cars.

These were beautiful cars. I am no fan of the fuselage style that came later. Those cars were scary...
