Bulova record player/ Phonola record player

Post: # 14937Post William »

Here's one I have never heard of before. Bulova!

I have this exact model but mine does not look like this. The ad states it must have sat in a damp place, you think. The poor thing sat in a flooded basement for a long time to look like this. He states that the left channel is in the main unit and the right channel is the separate speaker. That is wrong, this is a three-channel unit and there are two detachable speakers making up the left and right channels.

That poor old Phonola was in a flood! That thing is so full of black mold, it wouldn't be safe to mess with. Wow!.... ;)

Bill,
The Bulova ad must be the most thorough posting with
complete information.

The owner must be one of us, ha ha !!

That power transformer amp will probably sound pretty nice
when restored.

Mr. Mogul. I thought the same thing, very through ad.

Greg. I can't believe the guy plugged it in and tried it, and he wants 70 bucks for it.

Well, Bill, that old Stromberg-Carlson radio I have that is arguably the best radio I own is such a mouse house nobody in their right mind would have figured it would ever work. Just goes to show that this old tube stuff is tougher than people think.
