My curbside rescue

Nothing exciting like what you guys find, but I didn't have the heart to see this get collected by the garbage guys.

Soaked the mechanism with Seafoam Deep Creep overnight and proceeded to pound the rust away from the folding levers that cause the roller wheels to retract, thus making this stable during work. Foot pedal operation still isn't as smooth as I'd like, but it will get there. The feet were literally in the mud for some time from what I can tell. Just glad I got it working without breaking something. Future plans include a paint job. This will make a nice roll-about for tools and test gear in the garage when working on the car.

So, what exactly is the name for this contraption?

I had a few used typewriters growing up. I found a table much like that and used it in high school. Before that, I had a portable in a 2 part case where you would open the smaller bottom portion where there were a set of folding legs to hold the case up, with 2 on the bottom lid to make a desk. Remove the top lid and it was all set.
