The price on this is ridiculous and it's been gutted. The cabinet is nice. I need to research this brand, as I'm not familiar with it. If a guy had some electronics laying around, this might make a nice rig.

I would consider Clairtone the Magnavox or maybe even the Fisher of Canada. Beautiful cabinets and with some impressive electronics. There is one sitting in one of the Antique stores downtown. It's actually in their prep area, covered for protection, and they use it as a worktable as they sort the income merchandise. I have made inquiries and was told it does not work. It is a solid-state model.

It's wonderful when the seller says "Doesn't work." They imagine $$$$ to fix. Great opportunity to snag a project at a low price. MUCH better than those folks who identify the device as an "antique" and "rare." Buy it, Bill.

Chris, right now it is not available as it has a better use as flat surface to put merchandise before it moves out to the sales floor. Besides, it's 9 miles long.

Buy 'em a table and trade. Then you will have a work surface.

That would work! I'm actually more interested in what's under the hood than I am owning it.
