Free..Hydro wants an old TV.....

Post: # 10459Post electra225 »

I have four old tube black and white TV's and I'd part with one of them. One is a Silvertone 25" console, circa 1967-ish, my dad's last new TV, I have a Zenith table model, 19" (I think), a Philco about the same size, and an RCA 14", circa 1957-ish. They all worked at one time, haven't had any of them plugged in for twenty years or so. I would test the CRT on whichever one you'd like. You can have one free of charge, knowing it will go to the good home of a forum member. You would need to make a trip to AZ to get it. Let me know if you are interested, we can chat further and iron out the details.

Hello, Just saw this ! IDK what I want but I was thinking it would be nice in my console room the have a woking very old tv. roundie would be best but a semi round 19" would be good. the later 21" is fine also. I would hook up a VCR to it and somehow get a "lost in space" episode alongside the CG or Continental.
looks like a future road trip. Hydro

Whenever you are ready, Hydro, we can work out details. I can also post pictures if you'd like. I posted a picture of the Silvertone console on the TV Chassis board on this forum.
