This is something you just do not see around these parts. Price is steep, at least for me, but I guess they do go for that kind of money.

Re: Zenith Console
The Zenith consoles with louvered doors are popular, but not THAT popular. That is silly money. Maybe move the decimal point over a notch. It might still be all-tube. The tuning eye looks like it might be a tube.
Life can be tough. It can be even tougher if you're stupid.....

Re: Zenith Console
I'm not sure when Zenith went from all tube to hybrid, then to all SS. I know the 1969 Zenith, same model series as in my "FIND", is all SS.

Looks like that tuning tube might be an EM84

Re: Zenith Console
That's a nice original owner piece, but yes, over priced
for being un-restored.
It does have the Zenith-made clam-shell 45 adapter
belt drive changer.
The product booklet photo indicates amp is solid state.
I'd bet this is a hybrid unit.
I had a same year similar size model w/o the louvers.
I know it had tubes, cannot remember if also
some SS components.
It did sound big for a moderate sized console.

Re: Zenith Console
I have that model and just added a thread about it in the "Zenith" section.
