Mr. Mogul, could I impose upon you to post a drawing like the one you posted above, on the "Getting Started" board? This would be great information for someone who got an instrument with hacked wiring on the changer. And it would be great reference material for the rest of us who may not be intimately familiar with how changer motors are wired. Thank you.

I had to re-read the entire thread to remind me! The amp + tuner that you built as a 4H project. I did also at age 13 or 14 but it was a Heathkit so I merely had to carefully follow their instructions by checking of each step in the excellent assembly manual. Used it into my college years, and wish I had kept it, but was entranced by the very competent and inexpensive Japanese receivers - in my case a Pioneer 626 - of the early '70s

The amp is a Dynaco SCA-35 and the tuner is an AMD. I don't remember the model number on the tuner. I had a Pilot 100 Multiplex adapter for it at one time, but sold that. It had a Miracord changer, now long gone. It wasn't much anyway, as I recall. I built two University Sound speakers from kits for the outfit. I blew those up with my SX-1050, then traded what was left for something. I still have the LP I got with the University Sound speakers. I still have the amp and tuner, although the pictures are on my old computer, which is in storage. It seems my whole life is in storage.....
