The people in Lowell Indiana find all kinds of nice stuff. They are the once that have the EV26 cartridges for sale. So, what differences do you see? The cabinet on the one pictured is kind of scratched up but it looks to be all there.

Hello, This one has a one piece plastic facia where mine is a flat piece of painted wood and two brass strips. I have a different base and this one despite being only 16 weeks newer (mine is 1958 23rd week) has the stereo tape output of the 54-03 preamp. It also has the stereo bronze bezel for the speaker switch and like mine is missing its magnavox emblem. The rest is identical as far as I can tell at this point. I have to say I have never seen a photo of the black and gold glass panels that do them justice in person. Even though I had mine recapped it still preformed poorly I decided to kind of start over and upgrade to the 54-03 preamp chassis because the more I thought about it I had to be able to get true stereo after all the expense of going through it twice. I got mine out of Colorado and paid 400 for it. And I was fortunate that a friend had his son moving to seattle and literally stopped by and picked up the stereo on the way. Hydro
