This may have a decent tube amplifier and FM stereo, not pictured. I have seen a few and all need soldering and a few parts.
The record player is a VM with unusual tonearm, not the vacuum version with a wide body.
Designs are simple for TV as well, a monochrome 23 inch with 110 degree CRT and transformer chassis.
Great project close to work, but I don't need more TV's.

Re: General Electric hifi tv 1964 M786YMP - Pa
I have the guts to one of those outfits upstairs in a box. The unit I had was minus the TV by the time I acquired it. The cabinet was especially junky. Made of "mystery wood", glued and stapled together. I stripped the electronics and speakers then the cabinet went on the burn pile. The speakers are 6X9's with small tweeters. It has the same amp chassis as my RP-1590C stereo with single-ended 7189 output tubes and a transformer power supply. Lots of these units are found with a burned-out power transformer, since the filter caps are notorious for shorting and taking out the PT. One good thing about the tuner is that it has factory FM stereo. The control knobs and the bezel for the tuner are the fanciest parts of the whole thing. The unit I had was equipped with the VM changer and the "Custom" tone arm. I'd like to find a good home or a good use for the guts. The thing actually sounded pretty good, the one I had was just plain ugly and was in horrible condition.
I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.....Thomas Alva Edison
