This has to be a rare bird!
Pretty optimistic price, but I would have to say this model is very seldom seen....

Yes, a price a bit steep for just a 25L6 SE output amp.
I've seen some Cobramatics with the dual tonearms, but
never this single one.
Being from 1950, it would have the radionic cartridge.

That tiny turntable for LP's looks like the horrible D-10 changer Philco made in the 1940's. That thing must have been murder on records. I can't imagine having to sort a contraption like that.

As I read the Sams, the 33 side plays 7" 33 rpm records. ????????

I missed seeing where is said it played 7" 33's. Still an interesting instrument. Wonder how it was at playing 45's? Did it change records as fast as the little RCA 45 rpm changers?

Scroll up to the Sam's image and read "General Information." I can count the number of 7" 33-1/3 rpm records I have on one hand.

Re: This has to be a rare bird!
well the date of 1950 makes sense ...it was when all the Mfgs were trying to figure out which way the record industry was going , Columbia and RCA were pushing 7" records hard .... kinda like the VHS or Beta wars ...it would be cool to have one if anything for a display...
Re: This has to be a rare bird!
The Zenith "Twin 7" record changer is indeed a rare bird.
Columbia did push seven-inch styrene 33s for a time, but RCA's 45 format was simply better for singles. Better in both sound quality, and durability.

I have a chassis from one of those, mainly a parts widow. Is complete. Free for postage.
