Some of you were talking about Dick Van Dyke. I don't have a TV so I don't know much about him but an article today in the NYT included this video from the band Coldplay with him dancing a bit at 99--an age when many would consider it a victory to stand up.

Some of Dick Van Dyke's work was spectacular. I enjoyed him in "Diagnosis: Murder". The Dick Van Dyke Show with Mary Tyler Moore was marginal, usually just silly. I enjoyed some of his movies. He managed to conduct himself with dignity for the most part and has lived a long life. He still sounds like he always did, even at 99 years of age. I'd say he did well...

Being married to a woman young enough to be his granddaughter should be enough to keep him busy...... ;) ;)
I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.....Thomas Alva Edison
