Voice Of Music 805

Until about a year ago, I had not seen a V-M for sale.

I still haven't seen anything local but I cant imagine not owning one, so I traded some of my excess parts for this 805.

It is a smaller console with a single-ended 6BQ5 stereo amplifier.

Im thinking of putting some short legs to make it more easy to use

The Maganvox StereOrama next to it has a "stand", which looks very unique

A few years back I was in a local junk shop, now gone, and I came across an RCA unit, like the one Elton needed some photos and dimension for to build his Aux. speaker, and a VM 805. Unfortunately, the VM 805 was just a shell of a console but still had its speakers and changer still in it. I guess the console robbers got there first. I think I paid 10 bucks each for the VM805 and the RCA and its Aux. speaker. I removed the changer, speakers, hardware, and also took the lid off. Not sure what the fate of the cabinet will be, but I have no desire to hang on to it.
