I had recapped this RP-1570A player some time ago, and I
have a potential buyer.
Checking it out, the cartridge wire clips were really
oxidized, so I replaced those.
I put in a new idler wheel and stylus, so its ready.
When I reviewed the photos of the amp dis-assembly,
I remembered how this was a bit of a Chinese puzzle
box to get the amp out.
The amp is on a hefty PC board/metal frame, and
the cabinet and speakers are all steel construction.
The original G.E. C-100 phono cart works well in the
custom V-M record changer.

The GE C-100 is a nice sounding cartridge. Those little GE Trimline stereos are great performers for what they are.
Life can be tough. It can be even tougher if you're stupid.....
