Interesting, the person actually has some incorrect information in his ad. First, the AM/FM does not work because there isn't one. It was an option, but this unit does not have it. The main unit in the photo is a VM-570 which is the same model that I have but mine is in the more traditional Mahogony cabinet. They came out in 1958. There is a photo of mine here on the forum in the VM section. The MCM Blonde cabinet in the photo in this ad is like my VM-801 but mine is in Walnut. The VM-801 came out in 1959. The aux speaker in this ad, is like my aux speaker and has the amp built into the aux speaker. My VM-801 is self-contained having the second amp in the main unit and the aux speaker is just a speaker. Changes were made between the VM-570 and the VM -801. The VM-570 was first offered as a mono unit and when stereo came out it was easily converted to stereo by just adding a stereo cartridge and an amp to the aux speaker. The VM-801 was designed form the get-go as stereo. They are both great sounding units. The last photo shown is a VM-811, from 1960, and has nothing to do with what is shown in the ad. Seller is one of the bigger hacks and rip off artists out there. Maybe it's good that he's sorta curating these units and saving them from modders and landfills. But the level of knowledge, basic service or any sort of restoration skills is totally lacking. Instead, He's marketing it with a Bluetooth speaker.

That Westinghouse is so cool and has to sound fantastic with the 6L6's. I forget, is that a keeper? And if so, which sounds better the Westinghouse or the Motorola?
