On the radio--Ian Tyson

I just love the radio; you hear so much cool stuff. Right now the blues show is playing Bessie Smith, "Give me a pigfoot and a bottle of beer...." (Bennie Goodman on the clarinet behind her).

This is away from home; the annual St. Pat's parade was on today in Bay City. On the way back to the beach another station played Ian & Sylvia's recording of Tyson's wonderful song, '"Someday Soon." I love Judy Collins' version:
