Identify This Magnavox ?

Post: # 18934Post Hi-Fi-Mogul »

Today I had a call from an older lady who lives 50 miles away.

She is a classical musician, who wants her 1980s Realistic
Clarinette component record changer fixed.

In addtion, she mentioned her departed husband had a
Magnavox from when he was a boy.

I told her she can have someone bring the Realistic by
and I'd do my best.

I then asked her out of curiosity to also send photos of
the Magnavox.

So, what are ya'lls ideas ? Is it still tube or an early SS amp ?

She said she did not see any model number sticker on the cabinet
anywhere.

Magnasonic, maybe? I think it is entry level with a SE amp. That one is fairly late, notice the knobs.
Life can be tough. It can be even tougher if you're stupid.....

It's called the Trenton, model 1-RP295 and sold for $215.00. It is solid state, has an all in one chassis and 10" coaxial speakers. It definitely is a starter console.
