I am using my Magnavox consoles for a work bench while I have the Tolex project spread all over the shop...

The S-600 changer in the Stereo Theater has what appears to be two hex-head small screws that hold the overarm on. The heads appear to be smaller than 1/4", maybe an 1/8" (?). If you have a good pair of needle-nose pliers, that should work to turn the screws.

Lest someone get alarmed, I use a large sheet of cardboard to cover the consoles, that have shipping blankets on top. I only use this setup to spread the Tolex out so it will lay flat and let me measure it accurately. The changer of the Stereo Theater was not covered by the cardboard, so I could get to it.

If you mean the record support overarm, it uses two 3/16 inch
hex bolts.

If you mean the tonearm, let us know.

not this one....and I don't think it's a hex head... the pin goes thru to the other side and my smallest allen head wrench will not fit it...

I just downloaded the service manual for changers 602 thru 608.. sure enough , the exploded view shows a roll pin holding the arm... leave it to me to get the oddball changer

Well, then it looks more difficult to figure out how
to replace the support arm, if pins have to be
removed, replaced and hammered in with a
replacement support arm.

Another idea is to find a replacement support arm,
that has the two tapped holes already there
for the screws like in the earlier Micromatics.

Or, if you find an arm like yours, tap out two holes,
and then install screws.
