Maybe the RCA experts can chime in. Later RCA TVs used Nuvistor tubes in the RF section and got the name "New Vista" as a play on words. Did the stereo receiver use Nuvistors (as my early transistor Fisher receiver does)? Or did RCA just figure the name was cool?

The dial pointer in the radio is crooked.

That's a $300 subtraction right there.....
