Hence the reason for my caveat. You are not the only one who has relayed such an experience. Mark made a tapped volume control for my old Grunow one time that bailed me out big time. I posted him as a possibility if somebody needs a totally unobtanium control and has LOTS of patience. ;)

Nothing against the guy but... Mark has too many irons in the fire at the same time .... I never got him to build my control... he kept saying he was busy or he forgot.... after a month of phone and Email tag ( some emails were never answered) I built my own control....

Agree that Mark is a good source.

One thing about Mark is that even though it may
take some time, he will follow through to try
and find your part.

He even has told me to check back if I have
not heard from him w/in a certain time.

Mark has been around for a long time. I've used him in the past for providing parts I couldn't find or weren't available new anymore. His specialty is controls and things like that. He can make such things. One caveat is that sometimes his service is not very fast. I've had good service from Mark, but have heard of others not so lucky as far as the time it took to get their item is concerned. I have not heard of anyone not satisfied with the parts he provides.

His website is: www.oldradioparts.com
